National Bureau of Statistics presents a new edition of the statistical  publication "Moldova in figures". This edition comes with updated and improved content and design, in order to facilitate understanding of statistical data by the general public and to increase their use and usefulness.

Biroul Național de Statistică informează că, conform rezultatelor preliminare ale cercetării statistice ,,Ancheta forței de muncă (AFM)”, în trimestrul I 2025 forța de muncă (populația activă de 15 ani și peste) a constituit 807,9 mii de persoane, fiind în descreștere cu 9,9% față de trimestrul I 2024.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the preliminary estimations of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2025 decreased (in real terms) by 1.2% as compared to the first quarter of 2024.

Exports of goods in April 2025 were amounted to 265,6 million USD, with 11,2% less than in March 2025 and with 9,3% less compared to April 2024. Exports of goods in January-April 2025, amounted to 1077,1 million USD, which is 11,3% less than in the corresponding period of 2024.

National Bureau of Statistics presents the statistical information on the demographic situation in the Republic of Moldova for 2024 year. The data are presented through the aspects of demographic events targeting the usual resident population, which includes those who have lived mainly on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for the last 12 months, regardless of temporary absences.
